Repair Policy & Warranty

At Mobile Zone Texas, we are committed to providing reliable repair services with clear and transparent policies. Please review our Repair Policy & Warranty carefully before submitting your device for service.


1. Diagnostic Fee

  • A $20 diagnostic fee applies to all standard device inspections.

  • A $50 diagnostic fee applies to devices with water damage or motherboard-related issues.

  • Diagnostic fees are non-refundable and are charged regardless of whether the repair is approved.

  • If you proceed with the repair, the diagnostic fee may be applied toward the total repair cost (where applicable).


2. Repair Approval & Payment

  • Repairs will only be performed after customer approval of the quoted cost.

  • Full payment is required upon repair completion before the device is released.

  • Repair timelines may vary depending on parts availability and device condition.


3. Repair Warranty

We stand behind our repair work with the following warranty coverage:

  • 30-day limited warranty on most repairs, covering defects in parts and workmanship.

  • Screen repairs include a 3-day functional warranty only, covering display functionality issues.

  • Warranty does not cover physical damage, cracks, liquid damage, misuse, or accidental damage after repair.

  • Any unauthorized repair or modification voids the warranty.


4. Data Responsibility

  • Customers are fully responsible for backing up all personal data before submitting their device.

  • Mobile Zone Texas is not responsible for data loss, corruption, or breaches that may occur during or after the repair process.

  • We strongly recommend removing passwords and disabling security locks where possible to allow proper testing.


5. Unclaimed Devices

  • Devices not picked up within 10 days of repair completion or repair rejection will be considered unclaimed.

  • Unclaimed devices may be recycled, resold, or disposed of to recover repair, storage, or diagnostic costs.

  • Mobile Zone Texas is not responsible for data remaining on unclaimed devices.


6. Limitation of Liability

Mobile Zone Texas is not liable for:

  • Pre-existing device conditions

  • Manufacturer defects

  • Data loss or software-related issues

  • Damage caused by prior repairs or third-party components


7. Policy Updates

This Repair Policy & Warranty may be updated at any time without prior notice. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
